Rooted with Bertus Basson from Mooiplaas

Situated in the picturesque Bottelary Hills, Mooiplaas has been home to the Roos Family since 1963. The oldest vineyard on Mooiplaas is the Hoemoed Chenin Blanc. The Houmoed vineyard was planted in 1972 by late Nicolaas Roos. As the Afrikaans name says, “Hou moed”, this vineyard has kept faith for almost 50 years and is still delivering beautiful wines.
